WorkLog Insight Privacy Policy
WorkLog Insight is a time, task, and reporting app by Bogdan Cateriniuc. This policy explains what information the app stores, how it uses iCloud, and how you can manage or delete your data.
Data You Add to the App
WorkLog Insight stores the information you enter, including clients, projects, tasks, work sessions, descriptions, comments, materials or cost items, reminder settings, app preferences, and attachment references.
If you choose to add photos or documents, the app stores those selected files as attachments. The app does not access your full photo library or document library; it only receives the items you choose through the system picker.
iCloud Storage and Sync
WorkLog Insight uses your Apple iCloud account to sync app records between your devices. Synced records are stored in the app's private iCloud container using Apple's CloudKit service.
Photos and documents added as attachments are saved in the app's iCloud Documents storage. These files use your iCloud storage quota and can be reviewed and deleted from inside the app.
Bogdan Cateriniuc does not operate a separate server for your WorkLog Insight records or attachments.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, WorkLog Insight schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder notifications are used only to alert you about your scheduled work tasks.
Backups and Exports
The app can export a JSON backup containing records, app settings, and attachment references. Exported backups do not contain the actual photo or document attachment files. You control where exported backup files are saved or shared.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
WorkLog Insight does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. The app does not sell your data.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual tasks, comments, and attachments inside the app. Deleting an attachment removes only the selected photo or document and its attachment record; linked clients, projects, tasks, and comments stay intact.
You can also use Settings > iCloud > Erase All iCloud Data to permanently delete synced app records and attachment files for WorkLog Insight. Local reminder notifications are cancelled as part of this erase action.
You can also manage app data through Apple's iCloud and device settings.
