Apometre is a home water meter tracking app. It helps you keep track of your properties, meters, and water consumption over time.

This Privacy Policy explains what data the app stores, how it is used, and your choices regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

Apometre does not collect personal information for advertising or tracking purposes. The data handled by the app is limited to:

• Property details (name and optional address).
• Meter names and types (for example, cold water / hot water).
• Meter readings and dates.
• Optional reminder settings (day of month, time, notification status).

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored locally on your device in the app’s storage. If you enable iCloud sync in the app:

• Your data is also stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple.
• Syncing is handled by Apple’s iCloud services; the developer of Apometre does not have direct access to your iCloud data.

4. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used only for the core functionality of the app, for example:

• Displaying your properties, meters, and their readings.
• Calculating water consumption and showing historical trends.
• Sending local notifications if you enable reminders.

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising.

5. Analytics & Tracking

Apometre does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.

6. Children’s Privacy

Apometre is intended for general use. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not include features directed specifically at children.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You remain in control of your data at all times. You can:

• Edit or delete properties, meters, and readings directly in the app.
• Disable iCloud sync at any time from the app’s Settings.
• Delete the app from your device to remove locally stored data.

Please note that deleting the app does not automatically remove any data you may have in iCloud. You can manage iCloud data via your Apple ID settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect improvements to the app or changes in legal requirements. When the policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
